Job Summary:
The healthcare professional role is based in a medical surgical unit at a healthcare facility in Saint Augustine, Florida. This position involves providing patient care in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to float among different medical surgical units. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, beginning on August 31, 2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights: 07:00 PM 07:30 AM; 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Float Registered Nurse (RN) Within the last 12 months, must have completed at least one assignment at a Level 1 trauma facility or an academic medical institution Travel experience required Electronic health record experience required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Florida license or compact license must be on file at the time of submission
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1 Dress code: Navy scrubs, closed-toe shoes, well-groomed hair/beard, jewelry not permitted Interview process includes unit manager interview The vaccination policy allows medical exemptions for the seasonal influenza vaccination; exemption forms must be submitted with the application. If declined, the candidate must complete a vaccination module.
