Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) nurse position available in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality care on a short-term acute care facility's medical surgical unit, with the ability to float between units as needed. The position offers night shifts to accommodate clinical needs and supports professional growth within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, 1 year of recent clinical experience, experience with Electronic Charting System (Epic), and skills in isolation precautions/PPE, Med/Surg, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, rapid response/code teams
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed
- Float: Float rotation may be required to meet unit needs
- Additional Information:
- Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent experience working on a medical surgical floor
- Must have Epic charting system experience and the required skills outlined above
- Candidate must be flexible to float between units, with a minimum of 36 hours per week for a start date of 08/24/2026
- References covering the last 3 years are required, with 2 references needed to verify clinical experience
- Candidates with prior employment at a similar facility or prior travel experience are encouraged to disclose details during submission
- Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of the contract
- No direct outreach to the facility is permitted unless coordinated through the assigned account manager
