Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care in partnership with a prominent Fort Worth hospital is seeking an experienced an Interim NICU Manager to lead its Level III NICU during a leadership transition. This leader will oversee daily operations, support staff, ensure quality patient care, and partner with physicians and hospital leadership to maintain efficient department operations.


Qualifications:

  • BSN required (MSN preferred)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of current nurse management experience in Women's Services
  • Leadership experience in NICU, Labor & Delivery, and/or Mother-Baby
  • Strong experience with staffing, operations, team leadership, and performance management
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to assist in daily department operations as needed

Interim NICU Nurse Manager - RN Contract Details:

  • $2,462 - $2,723 per week*
  • Weekly pay
  • 13-week full-time contract with possibility to extend
  • AM shift
  • 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of the Level III NICU.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, and departmental performance.
  • Ensure safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
  • Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to achieve operational goals.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Assist with budget oversight, resource management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support quality, patient safety, and employee engagement efforts.
  • Provide after-hours or weekend leadership support when needed.
