Position Summary:
The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations within the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff supervision, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role involves managing nursing staff, coordinating care plans, and maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment while promoting positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage nursing staff, including scheduling and performance evaluation
  • Oversee patient care delivery and ensure compliance with clinical standards
  • Coordinate and implement individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Monitor patient outcomes and address any changes in condition
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Support staff training, mentoring, and development
  • Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards
  • Handle admissions, discharges, and overall unit operations

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted RN  License
  • BLS Certification by AHA
  • Minimum 1 year of LTC experience preferred
