Travel RNs provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with healthcare teams, and adapt quickly to new clinical environments such as hospitals, clinics, and specialized care units.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and document vital signs and progress
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and Registered Nurses to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-care instructions
- Operate and monitor medical equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health systems
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, safety protocols, and facility policies
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care when needed
