Dual role: Infection Preventionist and Nurse Educator prior experience in both functions preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the facility's infection prevention and control program in compliance with CMS, CDC, and state regulations
- Monitor, track, and analyze infection surveillance data; report findings to the interdisciplinary team and administration
- Investigate infection outbreaks and implement evidence-based containment and prevention strategies
- Develop, update, and deliver infection control policies, procedures, and education to nursing and clinical staff
- Serve as Nurse Educator for clinical staff: provide orientation, competency training, and ongoing in-service education
- Conduct audits of hand hygiene, PPE use, isolation precautions, and environmental cleaning compliance
- Collaborate with DON, medical director, and department heads on quality improvement and regulatory readiness
- Maintain accurate documentation of surveillance data, training records, and infection control interventions
Requirements
- Active state RN license in good standing (New Hampshire or compact license eligibility)
- CPR/BLS certification current
- Minimum 2 3 years of RN experience; LTC/SNF setting strongly preferred
- Prior experience in infection prevention, infection control, or as a Nurse Educator preferred
- CIC (Certification in Infection Control) preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of CMS F-tag regulations, CDC guidelines, and NHSN reporting
- Excellent communication, teaching, and documentation skills
