Position Details
Position: Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RN)
Location: Orono, ME 04473
Contract Length: 14 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift)
Pay Rate: $60.00 – $63.00 per Hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,400 – $2,520
Candidate Type: Local Candidates Only
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations within the assigned unit
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Coordinate patient care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination activities
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Promote a positive and patient-focused care environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Previous Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or leadership experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or Rehabilitation experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
