  • Weekly Pay:$2200 to $2380
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, tube feedings, and other prescribed treatments
  • Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the healthcare team
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs/LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and interdisciplinary care planning
  • Educate residents and family members regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention practices, patient safety standards, and facility regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and resident-centered care planning
  • Provide compassionate care that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence for residents
Requirements
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing, chronic disease management, medication administration, and rehabilitation care
  • Experience supervising nursing support staff
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple residents in a fast-paced care environment
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
