Pay: $2,144.16 per week

Shifts: 12-hour block scheduling; 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM; every other weekend and holiday

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Long Term Care to join a geriatrics psychiatric facility in Canistota, SD. This travel position offers the opportunity to work in a post-acute care setting, with a focus on elder populations, including dementia and behavioral programs for schizophrenia and bipolar disorders.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse
  • Provide care for elderly patients including those with dementia
  • Participate in the behavioral program addressing schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and paranoia
  • Complete skilled and COVID-related charting during day shifts using the PCC system
  • Collaborate with med aides and other nursing staff for effective patient care
  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations and protocols

Requirements of the Registered Nurse
  • Active RN license
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience in long-term care, preferably geriatrics psychiatric nursing
  • BSN required
