Travel Registered Nurse (RN)


Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Contract Length: 10 Weeks
Start Date: May 11, 2026
End Date: July 13, 2026
Shift: 07:00 AM 07:30 PM (12-hour day shift)
Estimated Pay Rate:$35.76 $41.72 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 10-week travel contract assignment in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The RN will provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing setting, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes, patient safety, and adherence to wound care and long-term care standards.

This position requires strong clinical judgment, experience in wound care (interview required prior to offer), and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced long-term care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to long-term care residents
  • Perform wound care assessments and treatments as required
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Document all patient care accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Monitor patient conditions and escalate changes appropriately
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and facility protocols
  • Support patient safety and quality care initiatives

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required or preferred per facility standards
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
  • Wound care experience required (interview required prior to offer)
  • Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to manage a full patient assignment independently
