Description: This position is for a Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse. The nurse will be involved in ventilator management, chest tube, and drains care. Experience in wound care and managing infectious diseases is essential. The nurse will be responsible for medication administration through IVs. The nurse to patient ratio will be 1:4 or 1:5. This role requires flexibility with weekends based on unit needs. Candidates should be prepared to contribute to a positive team environment, including interactions with students and new hires. Cancellation of assignments may occur based on patient census, with notice given up to 36 hours prior.
