Job Summary:
The Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse position is located in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized care to patients within a Long Term Acute Care facility, utilizing clinical expertise and leadership skills to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care. The position requires shift accountability during daytime hours, with a focus on patient-centered assessments and interventions.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association; Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state RN license; 3 years of clinical nursing experience; 0 years of travel experience; EMR experience

  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The RN will hold shift accountability for providing patient care by applying the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, ongoing education, delegation, and supervision of assigned personnel are essential elements of this role. Candidates must adhere strictly to submission guidelines, including attaching relevant certifications, licenses, and documentation as specified.
