TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Kalispell, Montana.
UNIT: LDRP
MANAGER INTERVIEW
We have 5 labor rooms and 8 post partum rooms. We do couplet care. We have a designated OB OR, we do high risk deliveries. Our RN’s are the OR circulators
Minimum Years of Experience? 2
Will you accept a first-time traveler? prefer not
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Normal term deliveries, we also have high risk OBs that deliver Pre-term as young as 23 weeks
Patient Ratios: Couplets 3:1, Labors 1:1 when in active labor, Antepartums 2:1
Required Licensure & Certifications: MT or Compact License, ACLS, BLS NRP
Preferred: STABLE
Skills required: Labor experience
Technology/Equipment: EMR: Meditech and Centricity , IV Pump: Baxter
Med dispensing: Pyxis
Floating: Level 3 NICU and Pediatrics, occasionally to adult floor as a safety sitter
Orientation (facility and unit): Logan Women and Childrens OB Unit
Scheduling: self schedule- 6 week schedules
Weekend rotation: 5 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule (weekend shifts are Friday/Saturday night)
On call? If so, what is that schedule? No
Holiday Expectations: will be assigned to a holiday group. Requirement is the day before the holiday, day of holiday, and day after holiday
Schedule cycle: 6 weeks
