Healthcare Support is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.
Job Description & Requirements

LDRP RN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)
Position Details
- No local candidates (must live more than 50 miles from the facility)
- EKG exam required
- Some experience "catching babies" preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Higher-acuity L&D experience strongly preferred
- Fetal monitoring experience required (certification not required)
- Floating within Women's Health (MIU only)
- 12-hour day shifts
- Required to work every other weekend and major holidays
- No call

- 11 Labor Rooms
- 2 OB rooms
- 2 Operating Rooms
- 3 OB ED (Triage) rooms
- 12-bed Antepartum/Women's OBGYN unit
- Approximately 200 deliveries per month

- Typically 3 RNs and 1 technician per shift
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios
- 1:1 during active labor
- 1:3 for antepartum patients
- Ratios are subject to change based on patient acuity and facility needs.
