Seasonal Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: June 30, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit managing high-risk labor, C-sections, antepartum, PPROM, PTL, and postpartum patients
- Maintain appropriate patient ratios including 1:1 for high-risk labor and C-sections, and adjusted ratios for antepartum and postpartum patients on magnesium
- Perform and assist with procedures including C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler monitoring
- Operate unit equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN (GE) monitors
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
- Collaborate within a team nursing model, supporting colleagues and contributing to unit staffing needs through self-scheduling
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification (EFM-C) or AWHONN certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience circulating C-sections
- High-risk LDR experience
