Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to high-risk OB patients including magnesium patients and C-section patients within the Labor and Delivery unit
- Perform independent patient exams and full assessments in accordance with unit protocols
- Chart and document accurately across two EMR systems (Meditech and GE)
- Operate within AWHONN staffing ratios and collaborate with scrub techs, charge nurses, and unit leaders
- Float to OB or nursery as needed for task-based support without assuming a patient assignment
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active RN licensure
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- High-risk OB experience required
- Ability to work every 3rd weekend (3 weekend shifts per 4-week period)
Preferred Experience / Skills- RNC (Inpatient Obstetric Nursing) certification preferred
- Experience charting in Meditech and/or GE clinical systems
- Familiarity with a variety of Labor and Delivery patient assignments including antepartum and intrapartum care
