Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to high-risk OB patients including magnesium patients and C-section patients within the Labor and Delivery unit
Perform independent patient exams and full assessments in accordance with unit protocols
Chart and document accurately across two EMR systems (Meditech and GE)
Operate within AWHONN staffing ratios and collaborate with scrub techs, charge nurses, and unit leaders
Float to OB or nursery as needed for task-based support without assuming a patient assignment
Deliver a high standard of customer service and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Active RN licensure
Current ACLS certification
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
High-risk OB experience required
Ability to work every 3rd weekend (3 weekend shifts per 4-week period)
Experience charting in Meditech and/or GE clinical systems
Familiarity with a variety of Labor and Delivery patient assignments including antepartum and intrapartum care
