Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract (6 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-Hour Shifts) | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every 3rd Weekend and Every Other Holiday Rotation
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit supporting approximately 1,350 deliveries annually
- Manage and monitor laboring patients across an 11-bed Labor and Delivery unit and 8-bed Postpartum unit
- Accurately document patient care and clinical assessments using EPIC EMR
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation coverage as scheduled
- Be available for on-call assignments during low census periods, with a minimum 2-hour call-back requirement
Required Qualifications- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of OB experience with demonstrated Labor and Delivery competency
- Compliance with facility masking policy if declining flu and COVID vaccinations during flu season
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with EPIC EMR strongly preferred
- Familiarity with high-volume Labor and Delivery environments
