Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery in Torrance, CA

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit at an acute care hospital setting.

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit at an acute care hospital setting
• Support night shift operations with flexibility to work weekends as required
• Float to Mother Baby unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
• May be required to float to additional facilities within the state
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
• Apply precepting skills to support and mentor less experienced staff when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Advanced certification required
• Must be willing and able to work weekends
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Precepting experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Experience floating between Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby units
