Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekend flexibility required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Support and precept nursing staff as needed on the night shift
- Float to Mother Baby unit as required based on staffing needs
- May be required to float between facilities within the state
- Commit to working designated holidays as required by the facility
- Complete required onboarding modules prior to start and annually thereafter
Required Qualifications- Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, and NRP
- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
- Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
- Must be flexible working weekends and commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Precepting experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience in an acute care hospital environment
