Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekend availability required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Support night shift operations with flexibility to work weekends as required
- Float to Mother Baby unit as needed based on staffing requirements
- May be required to float to additional facilities within the state
- Commit to working a minimum of 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Complete required onboarding modules prior to start and annually thereafter
Required Qualifications- Active California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience (3 years preferred)
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, and NRP
- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Must disclose any license or background hits upfront at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
Preferred Experience / Skills- Precepting skills strongly preferred
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital environment
- Ability to accommodate a block schedule based on manager discretion
