Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established Standards of Nursing Practice
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care within a Labor and Delivery (LDRP) model
- Promote cooperation and effective communication among the health care team
- Monitor fetal status using advanced fetal monitoring techniques and respond appropriately to findings
- Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (required on hire and every two years thereafter)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working within an LDRP care model
- Familiarity with rotating shift schedules in a Labor and Delivery setting
