Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum patients throughout the continuum of care
- Float to the Postpartum unit as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to and during the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Postpartum experience required
- Active Arizona RN license with no disciplinary actions, verified within the last 30 days
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active NRP certification from an approved vendor
- Active AFM certification from an approved vendor
- Valid driver's license required to verify non-local residency
- L&D skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with shifts, locations, and departments is strongly advantageous
