Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and identify expected outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating care delivery and employing strategies to promote patient health and safety
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team to deliver care in a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
- Provide health education and information directly to patients, families, and treatment team members
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care across the care continuum
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members, including charge nurse responsibilities
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification completed within the last 2 years
- Minimum of 5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with at least 2 years of supervisor or charge nurse experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in an acute care facility setting
