OB Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Level 3)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | 4 Days per Week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across high, moderate, and low-risk classifications in a labor and delivery setting
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient and family centered care
- Prioritize and problem solve effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Demonstrate competency across multiple modes of care and delivery within the OB service line
- Float among OB/GYN units as needed to meet variable volume and acuity demands
Required Qualifications- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in OB triage and/or operating room (OR) settings highly desired
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
