Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 36 Hours per Week | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:15 PM–7:15 AM) | Every other weekend and rotating holidays required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and those in the delivery process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered, following established clinical protocols
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact licensure eligibility
- Prior Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts based on unit needs
- Availability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
- AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or equivalent training
