Key Responsibilities- Care for women during labor and childbirth, continuously monitoring maternal and fetal status
- Coach and support mothers and their families through all stages of labor and delivery
- Assist physicians during deliveries, including C-sections, acting as circulator and recovery nurse
- Manage and monitor patients receiving IV Magnesium, IV Pitocin, epidurals, and fetal monitoring
- Provide 1:1 care during active delivery and C-section procedures; maintain 2:1 ratios during labor
- Support postpartum patients with breastfeeding education and mother-baby care
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Active Illinois RN license at time of submission
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Experience in a high-volume birthing environment
