Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within a Labor & Delivery unit at a tertiary teaching hospital
- Support labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery patients across a Level I experience setting
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery nursing
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- STABLE certification and AWHONN certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a tertiary or teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with high-volume Labor & Delivery units
