Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within a Labor & Delivery unit, managing variable patient ratios (1:1, 2:1, and 3:1) based on acuity and census
- Monitor and assess laboring patients throughout antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases of care
- Deliver postpartum nursing care in alignment with unit protocols and evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a Joint Commission Accredited facility that includes a Level 3 NICU
- Float to other units or locations within a 25-mile radius of the facility as operationally required
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Demonstrated Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience is required
- Ability to adapt to varying patient ratios and acuity levels
- Willingness and ability to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a teaching hospital or Level 3 NICU-affiliated environment
- Familiarity with high-acuity obstetric patient populations
