Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Assist with and support vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the care team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or equivalent training
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
