Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Rotating Shift | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care within a Labor & Delivery setting, including high-risk cases and antepartum patients.
- Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans; coordinate care across disciplines and delegate tasks to appropriate care team members.
- Perform continuous fetal monitoring and respond appropriately to findings in collaboration with the care team.
- Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practice standards and the care environment.
- Provide care across the lifespan, including neonates, adolescents, and adults, in alignment with unit-based skill expectations.
Required Qualifications- Active Minnesota RN License (temporary MN RN License accepted; must be provided at time of submittal).
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- High-risk Labor & Delivery and antepartum experience required.
- Fetal monitoring experience required.
- Experience with newborn, adolescent, and adult patient populations required.
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) and NRP certification required; documentation must be provided at submittal.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Proficiency with Epic EMR strongly preferred.
- Experience in a high-volume Family Birth Center environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with Level III NICU care coordination is beneficial.
