    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data, providing age-appropriate nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice.
    • Foster an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for patients, families, and visitors.
    • Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff.
    • Apply standard work practices in relation to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators.
    • Precept and mentor novice employees to contribute to overall department performance.
    • Float to assist in other like units as needed and perform all other duties as assigned.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of South Carolina or compact licensure eligibility.
    • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing standards of practice and evidence-based care.
    • Ability to work night shift in an onsite clinical environment.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience precepting or mentoring new nursing staff.
    • Familiarity with hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practice development.
    • Demonstrated commitment to continued professional growth and ongoing education.
