Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Labor & Delivery department
- Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines to ensure comprehensive, team-based care
- Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all patient care decisions
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
