Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required | Holidays as Needed
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit needs
- Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Adhere to facility policies including tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment standards
- May provide care for patients with infectious conditions, including COVID-19
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records required
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Strong proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Experience working in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery environment
- Ability to minimize requested time off, with a maximum of 7 days per contract
