Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | No On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- May provide care for COVID-positive patients as needed
- Float to other units and cover holidays as operationally required
Required Qualifications- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license violations
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Strong proficiency with EPIC charting in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Ability to adapt to a blocked scheduling format
- Experience working in a tobacco-free and fragrance-free clinical environment
