Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite | Possible weekend and holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor & Delivery unit, including Level I and Level III Perinatal settings
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and high-risk situations in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arizona, with no disciplinary actions on record
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active NRP certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active AFM certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics or Level III Perinatal care environments
