Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and those in the delivery and immediate postpartum phases
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float to alternate care sites or units within the health system as operationally needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure eligibility
- Current experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- BLS and relevant obstetric certifications (e.g., NRP, AWHONN fetal monitoring) as required
- Ability and willingness to float to other units or care sites within the health system as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
