Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients including those with high-risk diagnoses such as pre-eclampsia, insulin-dependent diabetes, and antepartum complications
- Circulate in the OR for C-section procedures
- Titrate drips including oxytocin and magnesium sulfate per protocol
- Independently read and interpret fetal monitor strips using GE Corometrics EFM system
- Float to postpartum unit as needed to support staffing
- Fulfill on-call requirements of 18 hours per 6-week schedule cycle, signed up in 6-hour increments
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 2 years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience
- Demonstrated ability to circulate in the OR for C-sections
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Experience titrating obstetric drips (oxytocin, magnesium sulfate)
- Ability to independently read fetal monitor strips
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit
- Familiarity with AWHONN staffing and practice guidelines
- Prior experience floating to postpartum or mother-baby units
