Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
- Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries and obstetric procedures
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, following established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington or compact license eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Prior clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
Preferred Experience / Skills- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent training
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
