Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care across the full LDRP scope, including antepartum triage, active labor, postpartum (mother and baby), special care nursery, and general nursery
- Utilize the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies to deliver safe, patient-centered obstetrical care throughout antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases
- Demonstrate critical thinking and clinical judgment in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
- Document and manage patient care using facility EMR systems including MedHost, GE Centricity, and Athena
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in an LDRP setting with exposure to triage, labor, postpartum, and nursery care
- Familiarity with MedHost, GE Centricity OB, or Athena EMR platforms
- Prior travel nursing experience in Labor & Delivery
