Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | 36–48 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Complete required facility orientation modules during the onboarding period
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record system
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Current relevant certifications required and must be verifiable
- Must be able to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer
- Must comply with facility drug screening policy, including screening for marijuana – a positive result will result in automatic cancellation
- Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Altera electronic health record charting system
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
