Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days & Nights) | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients on a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit, including support for VBACs, Caesarian sections, and natural births
- Manage and monitor high-risk obstetric patients throughout the labor and delivery process
- Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units as needed
- Participate in rotating on-call shifts as scheduled within each 6-week block
- Work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and 2 Friday shifts per 6-week schedule block
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts — required at time of submission
- Current ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications
- Demonstrated tertiary and high-risk Labor & Delivery experience
- Postpartum (PP) experience required due to potential float between units
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (local travelers will not be accepted)
- Must not have worked at this facility as travel, permanent, or per diem staff within the past year
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level III NICU environment
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
- Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
