Key Responsibilities- Float between multiple hospital facilities in the region, providing staffing support across labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care units
- Manage active labor patients, including labor progression monitoring and delivery care
- Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret findings to support clinical decision-making
- Provide postpartum care for both mother and newborn following delivery
- Adapt to varying schedules, which may include primarily weekend shifts or minimal weekend requirements depending on assignment needs
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and patient management
Required Qualifications- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience including labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care of mother and newborn
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required per College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing
- Must possess a personal automobile and be willing and able to travel to multiple care sites as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred
- STABLE certification preferred
- Experience working in a float pool or multi-facility staffing environment
