Will work 3-4 (12 hour) weekend shifts on a 28 day schedule.  There is self-scheduling in Women s Services and will be given to the staff first, then travelers.  The Director and leaders will then balance the schedule based on experience and skill set. Charting: Meditech (PCS for L&D; ORM - Surgical).  OBIX for fetal surveillance system.  WOWs are provided to each RN for charting; Medication Administration: Pyxis;  IV Pumps: SolarisScrubs:  Scrubs are provided for travelers working in L&D.  Orientation offered Monday s only.  Will start in Human Resources and complete paperwork and obtain badge, next onto Occupational Health for Respiratory Fit Test and then will meet with Nursing Education to complete appropriate testing for their unit.  All RNs will take a medication test the first day.  After testing, will go to the unit to finish their shift with a Clinical Preceptor.  L&D will be provided 3-4 shifts of orientation on the unit prior to being assigned patients.
