Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,700 to $3,800 per week in San Leandro, CA

The RN – Labor & Delivery will provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The nurse will monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assist physicians during delivery procedures, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards. The role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to handle high-risk obstetric cases.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

• Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, and maternal vital signs.

• Assist physicians and healthcare teams during delivery procedures.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and newborn care.

• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time Labor & Delivery experience within the last 3 years

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of California

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

• ACLS Certification

• AWHONN Certification
