RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Weekly Pay: $3,439.00/week ($95.53/hr effective rate)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and emergency obstetric procedures.
- Care for newborns immediately after birth.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure exceptional maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN License (must be in hand before submission).
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA or American Red Cross).
Schedule
- 12-hour Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
- Every other weekend required
