Travel Charge RN / Clinical Coordinator – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Redding, California
Start Date: August 18, 2026
⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Job Overview Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily operations of the Labor & Delivery unit.

• Provide direct patient care for laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients.

• Lead and support nursing staff during each shift.

• Collaborate with physicians, OB hospitalists, NICU, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Ensure patient safety and compliance with California staffing ratios.

• Float to Postpartum or NICU (feeders/growers only if experienced) when needed.

• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Minimum 2 years of Charge RN or Nurse Manager experience in Labor & Delivery (Required).

• At least 2 years of recent acute care L&D experience.

• Certifications Required:

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)

  • COVID Vaccination

•  Cerner EMR experience preferred.
