Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process
- Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and labor progression
- Administer medications and assist with epidurals, inductions, and emergency interventions
- Support and educate mothers and families through the childbirth experience
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per hospital policies and professional standards
- Provide post-partum care and support for both mother and newborn
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (Fetal Monitoring certification preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' recent Labor and Delivery experience
