TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Brooklyn, Maryland, 21225!

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Current state license required Certifications: C-EFM, BLS, NRP, STABLE, ACLS preferred Must-Have: C-EFM certification must be in hand at the time of application Scrub experience preferred Charge experience preferred Experience with Cerner charting system Description: Seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for an upcoming position. Start dates available in late July or early August. Candidates must possess a current C-EFM certification. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted at a lower rate. Three years of experience is preferred, but strong candidates with two years may be considered. Float required to mother/baby and scrub. Call required for two shifts per six-week schedule. Every other weekend coverage is required. The unit sees approximately 300 births per month. Candidates should have experience with high-risk deliveries and labor management. Clinical skills include administration of various medications, assistance with deliveries, and newborn care. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support maternal and fetal health. Candidates should be comfortable operating various equipment and handling emergencies related to labor and delivery. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members. Availability for orientation modules and compliance training is necessary upon hire.
