Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, including circulating experience. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and a recent intermediate level of EFM. Preferred certifications, although not required, include Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics and Perinatal NCC Certifications. These certifications pertain to Client Newborn Nursing - Level I, Postpartum, or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and Birth. A First Latch (breastfeeding certification) is also preferred.
